Velma is one of our Scooby-Doo litter (Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy) that came from a home in Spring Lake that reached out to rescue for help. Velma was initially to be adopted to a family in Fuquay-Varina, but one of the children had an allergy issue and they could not keep Velma. The wife’s mother and father — Cathy and Mark who live in Canton, NC (mountains) stepped in and have adopted Velma. She has a lovely life with 2 older canine brothers, German Short-haired Pointers!
