Stella, on the right, was actually found by someone who was in the mountains for a weekend. Since there was a snow storm, the person brought her back home to Raleigh and started networking hers. Apparently someone in the area that she was found recognized her and confirmed she had been left behind by former owners. The shelter tried to make contact but she was never reclaimed. Renamed Ella, she lives in Raleigh with Edward, Lucia and their other dog, Watson.
