Spirit is one of seven puppies (Autumn, Bones, Casper, Charm, Echo, Shadow, Spirit) born into BFPA foster care after their mom, Lulu, was brought into the Vance County Shelter as a pregnant stray. On the far left, she is now called Keiko. Spirit also had lots of heart issues which required surgery. She is a foster failure with repeat BFPA adopter and volunteer Elizabeth (pictured) and Steve, and daughter Ellie. Their other dogs are Leah (in the middle) and BFPA alum Nixie from the Snow Pups 2016. All live in Cary!
