There are no more important volunteers to our rescue group than those who open their homes to our animals as a foster. These wonderful souls give these formerly abused or abandoned cats and dogs love, gentle care, and a safe haven, something most of them have never known.
If you foster for BFPA, we will provide medications, flea-tick preventative, heartworm preventative (for dogs), crates, collars, leashes and ID tags. BFPA will schedule and pay for any and all vet appointments for your foster cat or dog. Food will occasionally be provided in special case-by-case situations.
