The "Simpsons" puppies (Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Marge) were found as strays and taken to a shelter. Bart, renamed Kylo, lives in Raleigh with Kristin & Joe.

Mika was pulled from the Vance County Animal Shelter in May along with her brother, Vinnie (adopted many months ago). Mika is a foster failure and the 5th dog adopted from BFPA by Katie and Jordan of Wake Forest.

Chloe was adopted from and returned to the Wake County Animal Center twice before BFPA stepped in. She was adopted by Santana of Southern Pines.

Our "National Parks" litter (Bryce, Canyon, Denali, Kenai, Sequoia) came from the Montgomery County Shelter. Denali, renamed Bernie, now lives in New Hill with Kristen and Daniel.

Izzy (on the right) was found all alone and brought to the Granville County shelter. Now called Daisy Mae, she lives in Graham with Jim, Jane, and their other dog, Penny.

Petey was found as a stray in Wake County, severely matted and was never reclaimed. Deb (pictured) and Al of Garner are racking up the BFPA foster failures! They also still have Stuart, 2019 alum and Nick, foster failure from

Sage is one of an entire family surrendered to the Montgomery shelter: Anise (mom) and her seven 3-week old puppies (Chili, Chive, Nutmeg, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme). Renamed Sadie, she now lives in Willow Spring with Kelli and Michael. One

Roland (renamed Indy) is one of our Schitt's Creek litter (Alexis, David, Jocelyn, Johnny, Moira, Roland, Stevie, Ted, Twyla). These babies were dumped in a yard in Oxford and then brought to the Granville County shelter where BFPA rescued them.

Finn was found as a stray in Randolph County with Lodi. Finn landed in a great home with Jodi and Jordan of Holly Springs.

Our "Breakfast Litter" (Bagel, Benedict, Jelly, Muffin, and Waffles) were an unwanted litter surrendered to Granville County. Jelly, renamed Nova, lives in Raleigh with (clockwise from upper left) Brian, Abney, Olivia, and Ingrid of Raleigh.
