Dora is a hound that had been living on a property in Durham her whole life, and the new caretaker of the property wasn’t interested in having her stay. She was adopted by Noah & Jessika of Sanford.

Toto is an owner surrender to Wake County shelter that BFPA took in. He had injured his leg and it still hasn’t healed, and the owners could not afford surgery so they surrendered him. Renamed Toby, this adorable dog now

Dobie (renamed DooBee), was one of 14 dogs total turned into the shelter by someone who said they “found” them in a dumpster in Wake County. He has been adopted by Marcia of Morrisville.

Molly and her two puppies, Finley and George found themselves at the Tyrrell County shelter after their owner became seriously ill. Renamed Abu, George has been adopted by Shweta and Nishant of Cary.

Peanut came into the Wake County Shelter as a stray, but no one ever came to claim her. Renamed Gracie, she now lives in Durham with Deb.

Brownie was brought into a full shelter as a stray and never reclaimed. This beauty now lives in Durham with Kersten (pictured) and Neil.
