Molly and her two puppies, Finley and George found themselves at the Tyrrell County shelter after their owner became seriously ill. Finley has been adopted by Tammy of Raleigh.

Yury is an overbred shihtzu that almost lost her life had it not been for a rescue volunteer who reached out for help. This little girl was brought to a local vet in Sandford after going more than 24 hours

Oreo, renamed Teddy, came to BFPA because his owner passed away. He has been adopted by Phyllis of Raleigh

Lady, on the right, ended up at the shelter because her owner passed away. She has been adopted by Aaron & Susan of Goldston. They are repeat and treasured adopters because they go for the senior dogs! BFPA alum Izzy

Betty, renamed Sofie, was found as a stray in Granville County and never reclaimed. She lives in Smithfield with Hedi, Nelly (pictured), and their other dog, Shatzi.

Brandy, renamed Squirt, was found as a stray. She has been adopted by Ellen and Brenda of Durham.

Kelsey was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She is a foster failure with Kim and her children Ben and Katherine, all of Clayton.

Frieda is one of 5 beagles (Farrah, Flora, Frannie, Freddy, Frieda) we took in from Randolph County that came from a single home. These dogs were living outside, however were most were socialized well with people. She has been adopted

Jolene was found as a stray and brought to a full Vance County shelter. Luckily for her, BFPA stepped in and brought her into our foster program! She was a foster-to-adopt by Kaitlyn, the daughter of one of BFPA's long-time
