Charlie (on right) was an owner surrender to Wake County because they could not afford his medical needs. Renamed Rudy, he lives in Clayton with John and Joyce and their other dog, Rascal.

Trudy was an owner surrender to Randolph County shelter because they didn’t want her anymore. Now called Riley, she lives in Durham with Julia.
