Fraggle, now called Andy, was an owner surrender because he was too nippy after being taken from a neglect situation. He now lives in Durham with Mabel (pictured) and Danny.

Dougie, renamed Simba, came from a home where he and two other dogs (Patsy & Rosy) were living outside and severely neglected. His new home is in Cary with Sheaufung (pictured) and Ken.

Bella is another dog where the owners had her and another dog before starting a family. Poor Bella wasn’t thrilled with the young children in the home, so BFPA helped to find her a new home. She was adopted by

Bear (on the right) was found in Angier before Christmas with an embedded collar. Now called Teddy Bear (and he is!), he has been adopted by Anna (holding him) of Apex. Also in photo is her friend Maddie, and Anna's

Jocelyn (renamed Evie) is one of our Schitt's Creek litter (Alexis, David, Jocelyn, Johnny, Moira, Roland, Stevie, Ted, Twyla). These babies were dumped in a yard in Oxford and then brought to the Granville County shelter where BFPA rescued them.

Mishka came to us from Rockingham County where he had run out of time and was heartworm positive. He now lives a happy life in Morrisville with Ishita & Tamal and their cat, Tiggy.

Bonnie, now called Harley, came to us from the Wake County shelter. She now lives in Morrisville with Jennifer and her family.

Apollo, in front, now called Poe, came to BFPA because his original owner was unable to physically able to care for him as he needs. He now lives in Cary with Katie and Robert, and their other 2 dogs, Doodles

Chance (renamed Rocky), Channing, and Chase were stray puppies captured by an ACO in Granville County. Later their mom Mystic was brought to the shelter, so BFPA saved her too! This very sweet, calm boy lives in Apex with Cindy
