Barney (husky) was originally adopted from the Pitt County shelter by a college student. She could no longer care for him due to medical reasons, so her grandparents took him while they looked for a rescue. This boy was fostered and adopted by Kelly of Apex. Perched on the back of the sofa is Roxy, Kelly’s current foster puppy.
