Our “Mayberry Litter” (Andy Taylor, Opie Taylor, Barney Fife, Aunt Bee, Gomer Pyle, and Otis) came from the Mt. Airy area because they were an unwanted litter of Newfoundland mixes. Aunt Bee (on the right), renamed Violet, lives in Raleigh with (l-to-r) Blair, Katelyn and Nicole and their other pets Ivy the dog and Bellamy the cat.
