Lucy was recently adopted by a friend of a BFPA Volunteer from Rowan County Shelter, but was too interested in the kitties in the home and not a good fit long term. She is now a foster failure with John

Harry, now called Mojito was an owner surrender to Wake County as the owners were moving and couldn’t take him with them. He has been adopted by Nike and Nathaniel of Sanford.

Flora is one of 5 beagles (Farrah, Flora, Frannie, Freddy, Frieda) we took in from Randolph County that came from a single home. These dogs were living outside, however were most were socialized well with people. She has been adopted

Patsy came from a home where she and two other dogs (Dougie & Rosy) were living outside and severely neglected. She has been adopted by Kim of Apex.

Scout, on the left, was an owner surrender due to his owner passing and the wife unable to care for him. He now lives in Chapel Hill with Michelle & Anthony and their other dog, Jag.

Sadly little Mona was found as a stray, and was pregnant but her puppies were too large for her to give birth to. She then had complications, almost died, and required a blood transfusion. Despite her rough start in life,

Little Eloise was surrendered to the shelter with six other dogs. Now called Ellie, she lives in Fuquay Varina with Tony and Mary.

Birdie was surrendered to Vance County shelter with Stella when their owners were moving. She now lives in Raleigh with Barbara (pictured) and Tom and their other dog, Bea.
