Russ found himself in a rural shelter and was rescued in the nick of time before Hurricane Dorian hit NC. Ed and Christina of Clayton set out just to foster Russ for BFPA, but like many, they became foster failures!
Clover was rescued from a small, rural shelter. Once alerted, BFPA was more than happy to save this sweet girl and help her find her forever family. Renamed Mazie, she has been adopted by Bill and Frankie of Saxapahaw.
Marley was sadly surrendered to a small, rural shelter because his owners were having a baby and didn't have time for Marley. He was in terrible shape and covered with fleas and is heartworm positive. Marley, on the left, now
Petey was taken in by a nice lady who found out he was being abused by his owner because he was not turning out to be a good hunting dog. Petey, now renamed Clancy was adopted by Effie from Zebulon.
Riley's owner passed away suddenly and this boy found himself without a home. A kind family member asked BFPA to take Riley in and we were more than happy to commit to finding this sweet boy his new forever family.
Now called Alvy, Drake was found as a stray in Lee Co. and is a foster failure with Marie of Seagrove. Sadly he has a malignant tumor, but we know Marie will keep him loved and comfortable for however long
Peanut originally came into BFPA as a puppy in 2010. She found herself back with BFPA almost 10 years later through no fault of her own, and now lives with Brittany and Patrick of Raleigh.
Kipp came to us from Caswell County where apparently his family gave him up because the “kids” weren’t taking care of him like they should. Luckily this little guy has been adopted by Maria & Mitch of Garner.
